Howard Luke Camp
We were invited to teach
Snow and Ice science to a group of elementary students at Howard Luke Camp. Students arrived in a school bus and walked across the frozen Tanana River to begin their Native and Alaskan experience. Split up in smaller groups, students had the opportunity to parcticipate in all the following sessions: Snowshoeing, Ice fishing, Native storytelling, Snow and Ice science, and Native recreation.
